In a separate post, the 29-year old actress urged the local government to do something about the incident especially most of the arrested protesters were male and are breadwinners of the family.
She said, “Seeing this, sila ang padre de pamilya ng bahay nila. The local govt has to do something about this. [praying emoji]”

The militant group Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) also condemned the arrest of some QC residents who were only crying for help from the government in the midst of the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
We strongly condemn the violence and the arrest made against those who are hungry and only asking for food and urgent help from the government],” Bayan Secretary-General Renato Reyes stated.
