“My bunso is no longer my baby, he’s now officially a TEENAGER.” This was what proud mom Kris Aquino said on her Instagram about her youngest son James “Bimby” Yap Jr.
Kris was able to prepare baked spaghetti with cheese sauce, gelato cake, cheese, and cold cuts platter and carrot cake from the Aninuan Beach Resort where Kris and her two sons are staying right now.
In her long post for Bimby’s 13th birthday, Kris expressed gratitude for having her two sons who love and believe her unconditionally, no matter what they have gone through.
Kris said: “I had to share a video of Bimb on his birthday with all of you. And this was my chance to say I always try my best to be a good mom, BUT apart from my mom, nobody has ever loved and believed in me in my imperfect totality the way my bunso does. My 2 sons are living proof – I continue to be blessed far more than a person deserves to be.”

Meanwhile, James Yap also greeted his son via an Instagram post. He said: “Happy Happy 13th Birthday Bimb! May God continue to bless you with many more years of health and life. I love you son!”

Kris, Joshua, and Bimby are still in Puerto Galera and because of extended community quarantine. The Queen of All Media failed to come home in Manila, and she didn’t want to take advantage of her connections to get special treatment.
Kris said: “Let’s be REAL – kung makauwi kami lahat ng bashing aabutin naming kasi ma a-accuse ng special treatment. Anyway zero covid cases here. Kaya we are in a safe place, we do miss home per na-realize ko I would like to really live by the sea dahil iba ang fresh air- maganda for my health.”
