The enhanced community quarantine will surely test the patience of people who are obliged to do nothing but to stay at home in the midst of pandemic COVID-19 disease.
The Unbreakable star stated that mental health is as important as maintaining good physical health during this trying time.
Bea said: “Have you been doing things that make you feel like YOU? In this crisis, I think it is important not to just take care of our physical health but also our mental health. We will overcome this together and BETTER. Stay hopeful guys!”

54-year-old Megastar Sharon Cuneta also reminded Bea to take care of herself as she, Angel Locsin and other celebrity friends will bond together as soon as the COVID-19 becomes insignificant.
Sharon told Bea: “You take care of YOURSELF too! After the crisis (in Jesus’ Name, you, Angel, etc and I should celebrate together.”
In order to maintain good mental health, these are some of the practices you should consider:
- Keep yourself busy – too much information about the pandemic disease can definitely stress you out. During the community lockdown, you can pick up a new hobby like baking, doing yoga, start D-I-Y projects at home, or simply read a good book you have never touched since you bought them from the store.
- Communicate with kids – this is the perfect time to engage kids in a healthy discussion. Sometimes talking to kids is not just having a simple conversation with them, but also you tend to learn from them too.
- Do something you’re good at – is it gardening, designing website, sewing, or painting? The increasing numbers of confirmed cases of COVID-19 patients can make you feel anxious and worry for your health. Beat the stress out of you by doing the things you mostly enjoy, in this way you can keep yourself busy, boost your self-esteem and lessen your screening time watching the pandemic news.
- Upskill – set a realistic goal that by the end of extended community quarantine, you will have new set of skills that you can offer to your employers or more likely to help you establish a business.
