Martial Law implementation has been floated many times by the supporters of the president because they think it will instill discipline during the enhanced community quarantine period.
Many of them are saying that it is the only way to fully implement the law and ECQ guidelines to prevent people from going out and possibly spreading the COVID-19 virus.
Meanwhile, in the comment section, Angelika was asked about her personal take on her question. One netizen, on the other hand, accused her of fishing for negative answers because she thinks the Kapuso actress is not in favor.
However, Angelika set the record straight and said that she’s definitely in favor of it because she’s fed up with the stubborn ECQ violators.
“Opo, sa totoo lang ang daming matitigas ang ulo na hindi sumusunod sa ECQ natatakot akong dumami pa lalo ang positive cases ng COVID19 sa bansa,” her response when asked if she’s in favor.
Angelika is considered a COVID-19 frontliner since she is the Brgy. Captain of Longos, Malabon City. That’s why she said she’s in favor of imposing Martial Law so that stubborn ECQ violators will be dealt with strongly by authorities.
Meanwhile, even the President has repeatedly said that he will not think twice about implementing Martial Law if the situation dictates.
In his latest public address Friday, April 24, Duterte warned the communist groups not to test him because he might declare Martial Law if ever.
“I am warning everybody and putting notice sa [to the] armed forces and the police, I might declare martial law,” said the President.
“Pag nagpatuloy kayo ng lawlessness niyo, and it is happening all over the Philippines, maybe I will declare martial law,” he added.
