Kapamilya actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin has shown support to the Taguig local government in its strict implementation of the enhanced community quarantine.
In an Instagram post, Angel shared her thoughts on the news about police entering a condominium building and threatening to arrest its residents.
“I live in BGC and I support the PNP and Mayor Cayetano,” Angel wrote.
“Rules are rules. Walang kaibahan po ang kumpulan sa palengke, pa-sabong sa sementeryo, at pa-bingo sa kalsada sa pagkumpulan ninyo sa swimming pool porket may common area sa high end condo ninyo. Wag po tayong privileged. Wala pong diplomatic immunity ang virus. You staying in common areas can harm not only us Filipinos but also the diplomats in your condominium,” she added.

On Sunday, April 19, some armed policemen without face masks entered the compound of a private high-end condominium in Taguig City which was later identified as Pacific Plaza Towers.
One of the policemen who was seen in an amateur video was seen shouting at the residents who at that time were at the poolside walking. He threatened to arrest the residents for allegedly violating the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine protocols.
Meanwhile, Angel also shared her support in a tweet which generated mostly positive responses from netizens.

We're staying also in BGC but in our bldg there's a strict policy within the bldg since Enhanced Community Quarantine has been declared, we, the residents or tenants not allowed to use the pools, gym, and even staying at the lobby for a long time is prohibited! It's w/ the admin!

Angel has been one of the most hardworking celebrities helping the country’s fight against COVID-19.
Together with her fiance Niel Arce and friends like Dimples Romana, Angel was able to raise 11 million pesos for the #UniTentWeStandPH project. The specialized tents were used by COVID-19 patients to address the overcrowding in hospitals. Some of the tents were also used as sleeping quarters of the medical front-liners to address their transportation issues.
