Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla recalled that she was on her way to the taping of Love Thy Woman when Kim Chiu’s car was shot eight times by the unidentified gunmen.
Zsa Zsa was relieved to hear that Kim, her driver, and her personal assistant were safe.

The seasoned actress then expressed her worry about public safety.
She said: “Relieved our baby girl Kim Chiu is safe and everyone inside van were all spared from being hit by bullets. But how safe are we when we get out into the streets? Ganyan na ba talaga ngayon, Pilipinas?”

Zsa Zsa’s tweet has garnered almost 2,000 likes and 337 retweets but there were netizens who disagreed with the question she raised. Some of the commentators mentioned that these celebrities suddenly became worried about the welfare of Filipinos when they themselves faced danger.

ABS-CBN is now working to fight for justice for what happened to Kim Chiu. In its official statement, the giant network also expressed gratitude for authorities for quickly responding to the incident.
