Gandang Gabi Vice aired its finale episode last Sunday, March 8.
The last episode was filled with gratitude and recalling of the past as Vice Ganda had a face-off with his final guest, Raffy Tulfo whom he had known since he was still starting his career as a comedian.
Vice revealed that Tulfo and his family have supported his career as a comedian even when he was not famous yet.
During his guesting, the TV and radio host commented on Vice’s rise to stardom from an unknown comedian to becoming the Unkabogable Star.
Iba na porma mo ngayon,” the Raffy Tulfo in Action host said.
Nakakasilaw nga e,” he added.
The 59-year old broadcast journalist also shared that he is proud of Vice Ganda as the latter kept his feet on the ground even after becoming one of the famous celebrities in the country.
Aside from backtracking, Tulfo shared his hard life before which made him realize that he should help others.
“Because of that naging pasaway ako. I was like them before,” he answered.
The fun-filled finale night also showcased Tulfo’s skills in dancing and making faces as he succumbed to the viral Tiktok challenges such as the “facezoom” and “Ahi” dance challenge.
In the end, Vice thanked Raffy for visiting his show.
Furthermore, the Unkabogable Star thanked everyone who supported his show for nine years. And despite signing off from Gandang Gabi Vice, the comedian host promised that he will not leave his viewers as he is set to host a new entertainment show called “Everybody, Sing” to be aired on the same day and time as GGV. The aforementioned program will debut on March 15, Sunday after The Voice Teens.
It was just a dream. Nine years ago I was given a chance to host my own show, ‘Gandang Gabi Vice’ and we were promised to air the show for one season, ilang weeks lang ‘yun. Then nung last day ng first season, nagulat kami na sinabi extended daw ng another season.
