When Pilita Corrales revealed to Lolit Solis that she scolded her granddaughter Janine Gutierrez for standing up against the comeback TV series of Sen. Bong Revilla Jr., Lotlot de Leon fired back to her former mother-in-law.
After a month, Lotlot confirmed during an interview with Allan Diones that they have moved on from the issue as it was just a burst of her emotions as the mother of Janine.
Lotlot said: “I’m okay, okay naman ako. We all moved on eventually, sakin kasi it was a burst of emotions also, tao lang naman ako. As much as with everything that has happened, I think naman naiintindihan naman ni Monching kung saan ako nanggaling. Yung sa akin kasi after the many things have been said, parang tama na rin di ba? Parang masyado ng luma ng storya.”
Lotlot also affirmed that if their kids have concerns, they would find ways to provide solutions for it immediately even when they are separated years ago.
She continued: “Monching and I, nakatutok kami sa mga bata. So, wala akong alam na hindi niya alam, wala siyang alam na hindi ko alam when it comes to kids, that’s already a given so as kami bilang magulang ng mga bata, if there’s a concern immediate ‘yun.”
Meanwhile, Janine’s father Monching remains positive and believes that there will come a time that everything will be okay between both parties.
“Basta sakin lang, feeling ko, darating yung time na everything will be okay. As much as possible hindi naming na hinahayaan na maka-apekto, maski sa amin ni Lot, wag maka-apekto yung mga ganung bagay.”
Monching admitted that he did not try to meddle in the situation during the time Lotlot has fought back, the only thing he was able to say to his mom is “refrain.”
He said: “Hindi eh, medyo mahirap pero there was a time naman medyo maganda naman, kaya lang meron talaga minsan may magsasabi na parang gasoline ba, magi-ignite. Hindi na, sabi ko lang refrain. Tahimik na kami, natapos na don, so mananatiling tahimik, e di walang problema.”
