In the midst of the controversial franchise renewal issue of ABS-CBN, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino paid tribute to her home of nearly two decades.
Kris shared on her Instagram some clips of her previous talk shows in the giant network such as Today with Kris Aquino, and Kris TV.
Aquino’s recent post on Instagram was a message of love for the Kapamilya network. Since she parted ways with ABS-CBN in 2016, Aquino can only recall the memories she was able to treasure all through the years.

She said: “Unfortunately, we don’t get to choose how a relationship ends, but I have learned, we do have a say in what memories we choose to keep. Now it is part of my growth as an individual, to set myself free of anticipated moves and labels; everyday learning to hold on to only what had been good, letting go of what wasn’t and nurturing an optimistic heart full of LOVE, HOPE and GRATITUDE.”

In one of her IG posts, Aquino hopes for the best to all the people scared to lose their jobs, the people she has worked with for almost 20 years in ABS-CBN including the writers, production assistants.
She continued: “My prayers & good wishes are with the marshalls, crew, cameramen, technical staff, production assistants and personnel, writers, creative teams, and EVERYONE I had the privilege of working with and learning from during my almost 20 years as a Kapamilya.”

Before Aquino expressed her support for the ABS-CBN franchise renewal issue, she had forgotten that she was one of the stockholders of the giant network. It was only when a netizen asked about her standing as the top 64th stockholder if she’s still on good terms with the network’s Executives.

ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal issues began when Kris’ brother, former President Noynoy Aquino, was also reluctant to provide the Kapamilya network its franchise due to continuous criticism against his administration.
