The tandem of Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza, or KarJon, are set to star on iWant series titled Ampalaya Chronicles.
These two young stars firmly believe that pressure will always be there, but they will definitely learn to cope with it through the process.
KarJon said: “Siyempre at first pero siguro in a way in the process we will discover. And hindi naman po mawawala yung pressure, right now ang gusto lang namin is mapaghandaan ang series namin.”
Since they were housemates in Pinoy Big Brother, KarJon confirmed that there are no awkward moments between them.
Karina admitted: “Yung friendship naman po namin di ba po kasi friends naman kami sa loob ng bahay, so paglabas namin friends pa rin.”
When asked how joining showbiz has changed their lives, Karina said everything has changed including her lifestyle. Aljon said he has learned to communicate well with media people.
Aljon shared: “Personally, yung paano kami magsalita, humarap sa mga tao, malaki yung growth.”
Among the Kapamilya love teams, KarJon would like to follow in the footsteps of KathNiel for excellent acting skills and LizQuen for being versatile partners.
KarJon said: “Siguro inspiration KathNiel kasi sobrang bilib ako sa acting nila KathNiel. Yung LizQuen naman is very genuine kasi sobrang cute lang nila together and before pa nahuli akong nagpo-post ng LizQuen stuff on my Facebook. So, I’m very [much] a fan of them.”
On a serious note, KarJon were asked if falling in love with an on-screen partner is necessary to provide fans and viewers the “kilig” factor. Here’s the separate statement of KarJon.
Aljon said: “Para sa akin as long as good yung relationship communication niyo and willing to work kayo together di naman kailangan maging real kayo basta solid samahan niyo.”
Karina: “Siguro ung definition nung real is ung the friendship rin, yung ability to work together, tapos it’s a choice naman kasi, it’s not a need.”
