ABS-CBN’s war-drama series A Soldier’s Heart has caught the attention of social media users for one of its scenes.
On Facebook, KuyaBill Rodeles Quilona, shared a clip of A Soldier’s Heart featuring a scene between Elmo Magalona and Vin Abrenica.
In the scene, Magalona asked Abrenica if they noticed something at their location. In response Abrenica said yes they found something within the perimeter, however, he failed to differentiate “kaaway” from “kalaban”
“Positive bok, pero di tayo sigurado kung kalaban o kaaway,” said Abrenica.

That line made netizens laugh and the post went viral and currently has more than 800k views and shared more than 33k times with over 27k reactions.
This is not the first time that a Kapamilya teleserye made a looper that went viral.
In the past week, LizQuen’s Make It With You also made a buzz on social media after its continuity lapse in the scene between Katya Santos and Liza Soberano.
The epic phone call blooper was captured by former PBB housemate Paco Evangelista who shared it on twitter.

It was not certain if that scene was supposed to be a regular phone call or a videocall since Liza was holding her phone at her ear while Katya on the other line was looking at the screen as if they’re video calling.
Because of that netizens offered possible reasons.

Prior to ABS-CBN’s recent bloopers, GMA Network used to be the subject of ridicule from netizens for its constant bloopers and lapses in their teleserye scenes.
From the monobloc chair in Encantadia, to the wrong gunshot wounds in My Special Tatay, the unforgivable car crash scene in Inday Will Always Love You and several medical scene blunders, GMA Network series has always been talk of the town in social media, but for the wrong reasons.
Just recently, GMA Drama series Magkaagaw also went viral with Sheryl Cruz’s muddy field scene. Cruz was supposed to be soaked in the muddy field. However, after she got up towards her car, her pants suddenly became white again with only few traces of dirt.
Although bloopers can be a source of viewers and netizens laughter, it’s not at all helping the TV industry.
Instead of striving to be exemplary with their teleseryes and providing quality viewing time for the audience, having these lapses reinforces some people’s notion about the quality of Pinoy TV series.
In the wake of Netflix and Koreanovelas, having these blunders if not avoided at all can contribute to the further erosion of Pinoy teleserye viewers’ attention.
