Dua Lipa suprises K-pop fans by releasing a new version of ‘Phyiscal’ fearuing Hwa Sa from a superstar K-pop female group, MAMAMOO. This is Dua Lipa’s second project collaborating with a genre of K-Pop, where the Grammy-winning artist released a single ‘Kiss and Make Up’ with BLACKPINK back in 2018.
Dua Lipa and Hwa Sa first met each other last December at MAMA Awards where they had a collaborative performance, Hwa Sa covering Dua Lipa’s smash hit “New Rules” and introducing the UK star to perform “Don’t Start Now”.
The new version of ‘Physical’ features Hwa Sa’s powerful vocal kicking off the first verse and the chorus in Korean with her own interpretation of the song, adding a special flavor to Dua Lipa’s 80s-inspired pop track.

Since arriving in style in 2015 Dua Lipa’s debut album has eclipsed 4 million sales worldwide and spawned over 40 million single sales and is officially the most streamed album by a female artist in Spotify history. She is also the youngest artist ever to hit 1 billion views on YouTube and has won 3 BRITS for British Female Artist, British Breakthrough Artist in 2018 and Best British Single for “One Kiss” with Calvin Harris in 2019 along with 2 Grammys for Best New Artist and Best Dance Recording for “Electricity”, her collaboration with Silk City at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
