GMA Network has introduced its newest primetime line-up starting Monday, March 2.
From the second spot, the Pinoy adaptation of hit Korean series Descendants of the Sun will now take the first spot airing after Kapuso primetime newscast 24 Oras.
Descendants of the Sun will now go head to head against long-running Kapamilya action-drama teleserye FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
On its premiere last February 12, DOTS failed to win the ratings game as it fell to Make it With You, 10.5% vs 11.2% based on AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey. In its most recent ratings data also from AGB Nielsen for February 14, 2020, DOTS is still down against Make it With You 10.6% vs 12.1% respectively.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, on the other hand, remained the most-watched primetime series.
Anak ni Waray Anak ni Biday will now try to compete with LizQuen’s Make it With You in the second spot.

Same with DOTS, Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday also lags behind its current rival FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. On its pilot, AWAB scored 16.7% versus FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s 33.8% based on Kantar Media survey. And for its most recent ratings numbers released by AGB Nielsen covering February 14, AWAB garnered 10.4% vs FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano‘s 14.6%.
Third spot remains unchanged with Kapuso family drama Love of My Life competing head on with Kapamilya war-drama A Soldier’s Heart.
And on the last spot will still be Asianovela rumble between Korea’s Angel’s Last Mission and China’s Yan Xi Palace.
