Veteran actress and director Gina Alajar slammed a newspaper writeup claiming she was a person under investigation (PUI) for COVID-19 and showed her test result to disprove the claim.
On March 28, Saturday, Alajar posted her COVID-19 test result on her Facebook account.
In the caption she wrote, “I was told that a newspaper writeup said I am a PUI…very late info na po… Negative ang COVID test ko and wala akong pneumonia… “
Some celebrities, unfortunately, have contracted the novel coronavirus.
The list includes veteran actor Christopher De Leon who has already been discharged from the hospital week after he had tested positive for COVID-19; Iza Calzado who just tested negative for COVID-19 three days after confirming that she had contracted the infectious disease; and Sylvia Sanchez who recently confirmed that she tested positive for COVID-19, along with her husband Art Atayde.
