Ever since the Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ) started, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Pasig City’s Vico Sotto, and Cainta’s Kit Nieto made use of their authority to save and provide assistance to their respective constituents.
Whereas, Vico has provided Pasig bus service, disinfectant drones as well as tents, mobile kitchen, distributed over 400,000 food packs, and pledged to pay the salaries of regular and contractual employees in full.
Cainta’s Nieto is seen to be active on his social media account to answer inquiries and provide updates to his constituents, and going beyond his duty by distributing health kits.
Meanwhile, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno is making rounds every night to ensure that everybody stays at home, deployed 189 e-trikes for the front-liners, encouraged motels and hotels within the City of Manila to accommodate healthcare workers.
