The second senator to test positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III drew ire on social media after it was made known that he roamed around a hospital with his wife despite being a person under investigation for the disease COVID-19.
Pimentel said he was with his wife in the hospital when he received news that he had tested positive for COVID-19. Based on the DOH protocol, a Person Under Investigation (PUI) must complete a 14-day quarantine period. The senator was already on self-quarantine when he decided to break it in order to accompany his wife who was scheduled to give birth.
While Pimentel’s actions were in violation of set protocols which would make him legally liable, the Department of Justice was seemingly not inclined not to file any charges, chalking it up to his excitement to see his wife give birth.
This lax reaction apparently didn’t sit well with Angel Locsin.
The Kapamilya actress tagged influencer Cat Arambulo as her reaction to the story. Cat became very infamous for her rant vs. daily wage earners who were out despite the quarantine because they had no choice. “Calling @catarambulo_com ❤️❤️❤️ where are youuuu?🤗❤️🤗” Angel wrote.

Angel’s tweet reminded some netizens of her endorsement of Koko during the 2007 elections. In an interview, Angel explained that Koko’s former wife, Jewel Lobaton, is her first cousin so she was just helping the first-timer in the senatorial elections.
A follower asked, “Di na mauulit ha. Pinky promise? Hahaha” to which Angel answered, “Naka-ilang eleksyon na rin naman pong hindi naulit 😌.”

In 2013, Jewel filed a petition to annul her marriage to the solon after an13-year-marriage. Five years after, Koko married Kathryna Yu in a civil wedding ceremony at the Coconut Palace where Pres. Rodrigo Duterte and Sen. Bong Go were chosen as their ninongs.
When a netizen shared an old picture of her with the controversial senator, Angel replied, “Eww.”
