Elmo Magalona has kept mum for months after parting ways with Janella Salvador. But yesterday the Filipino actor-singer introduced his new non-showbiz girlfriend as they celebrated their first anniversary together.
After a few hours, the A Soldier’s Heart star deleted his photos with girlfriend whom he called “Ry” with a sweet caption:
“Happy anniversary. Thank you for being my rock and for being you always. To more memories together. These are some of our milestones.”
In another now-deleted Instagram post, the 25-year-old Kapamilya actor shared a video of Ry using her cellphone and apologized for posting.
Magalona said: “Sorry Ry for posting the last video. ILSM.”
Throughout the years, Magalona has been involved with three women in showbiz. The first girlfriend he had way back in 2013 was Lauren Young, then he dated Janine Gutierrez in 2014 but they broke up in October 2016 due to conflict schedules.
Then, Elmo fell in love with his Born For You lead star Janella Salvador in 2016 but, Salvador’s mom Jenine Desiderio made a cryptic post on Twitter and said:
“I want no less than a gentleman for my daughter. Not one who looks and pretends to be decent but sneaks behind my back.”

After two years, Magalona and Salvador decided to part ways and the latter accused Magalona of physically hitting her twice during a tell-all interview for the Philippine Star with Ricky Lo.
Janella stated: “For two years, I focused on Elmo and myself. This time, I am giving more attention to myself. He hurt me and I cannot, can never tolerate that.”
Magalona’s previous girlfriend Lauren denied Janella’s accusation and revealed that someone is lying, as Magalona never tried to physically hurt her.
Young said: “I think someone is lying. I don’t know. Sometimes, some people bend the truth, some people… sucks if it’s true, sucks if it’s not true. Then someone is a liar. But for me, it’s none of my business.”
