Actress Lauren Young couldn’t help but take a sideswipe at ‘privileged’ influencer ChinChin Obcena.
On the Kapuso actress’ Twitter account, Lauren Young retweeted a tweet with a comment, “Ayan oh since di ka naman kumakain ng delata diba (my advice: take a cooking class or since you’re always on the internet anyway, iyoutube mo ghorl!!)”

Lauren’s tweet was a rebuttal to fashion influencer ChinChin Obcena’s story on her Instagram account about telling people to just follow government’s protocol about the quarantine since we need to overcome personal issues.
In Obcena’s case, her personal issue was that she doesn’t eat canned food because she is so used to eating out or getting food delivered.
Obcena, a PureFoods corned beef endorser, admitted that she doesn’t eat canned food (the corned beef brand she endorses comes in cans by the way) and doesn’t know how to cook but she doesn’t blame the government for the inconvenience of not being able to eat out.
“I don’t eat canned goods cause I’m used to ordering and eating out but I had to because I don’t know how to cook. So, should I blame the government for that? No. It’s my fault.”
She also added that people shouldn’t be mad over personal issues,
“Therefore, don’t get mad at the government for the lockdown because of your own personal issues. It’s hard on everyone not only you.”
Ending her statement, she said that if the government didn’t care, then they would’ve et everyone get the virus and dies since it’s not their lives anyway.
“They’re doing all of this to save more lives. If they didn’t care, they can just let everyone get the virus and die. It’s not their lives anyway.”
Netizens bashed her and some even tried to educate her but the Obcena saw it as an attack.
i-tag nyo nga to dun sa influencer na sabe nya kaya daw nasa labas mga tao dahil sa cravings at night out.

Despite the protocols mandated to ensure the Filipinos’ safety, these protocols have a negative impact on the Filipinos.
On Rappler’s tweet, commuters are seen stranded at the boundary of Valenzuela after the police locked down the area just after the strict implementation of enhanced community quarantine was announced.
