- Sen. Manny Pacquiao said he tested negative for COVID-19.
Senator Manny Pacquaio has disclosed that he and other family members have tested negative of COVID-19 after using the rapid test kit from South Korea.
This after Barangay Dasmarinas issued a letter putting his whole household under home quarantine due to the circulating video that he hosted a party at his residence attended by Sen. Koko Pimentel who was later confirmed as positive for the disease.
But a netizen posted a theory pointing to Pacman being a possible asymptomatic carrier.
In a tweet Sunday, March 29 by twitter user @SyLicoNgaAko showed a picture of Pacman at a turnover ceremony of Chinese businessman Jack Ma’s face mask donation for the AFP, PNP, MMDA, DOH, and RITM at Camp Crame.

RITM has already urged the senator to take a confirmatory test but Pacman rejected the offer saying he will do it once he exhibits symptoms.
He had been urged to take a test at the RITM, but he refused as he had no symptoms, compliant with protocol.
"Once I experience symptoms, I am willing to undergo the swab testing for the sake of my family & my country."
