- Robin Padilla opened up about Coco’s issues in the set of his teleserye.
Robin Padilla remains critical about ABS-CBN and its issues. This time, Padilla targetted FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano director and lead actor Coco Martin.
In response to a commenter who said he should just emulate Coco Martin who has helped many actors by giving them acting jobs, Padilla opened up about Coco’s issue.
Padilla even continued by saying he’s just saying the truth.
Peace be with you.” Padilla replied.
In 2018, Coco figured in a controversy about him allegedly splashing water on some talents of his teleserye.
According to the source, Coco used to prank some talents on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano by pouring water on them while they were asleep.
While the issue didn’t blow up, insiders said Susan Roces reprimanded Coco saying he shouldn’t have done that even as a prank. The source even added that Roces even went on by saying, the late FPJ didn’t do such thing during his time.
Meanwhile, Padilla also challenged those criticizing him to go to Coco and asked him to defend entertainment workers.
He mentioned ABS-CBN’s digital platforms like TV Plus, iWant, KBO, and YouTube which according to him are earning money for the network but are not being shared with the talents.
Meron pa ngayon silang tv plus, i wanttv, kbo at kung ano ano pa.

Just recently, Padilla earned the ire of netizens for slamming fellow celebrities openly supporting ABS-CBN. He challenged them to bare their contracts to the public so that people will know how disadvantaged those working off cam are.
However, after the backlash, Padilla apologized saying he just got emotional and he should have said it in a more spiritual way.
“As a gift to my wife this Valentines Day, I apologize to all her family and friends in ABS-CBN, ganon din sa GMA at TV5, patawarin niyo ako the ex-convict in me overtook my emotions, inaamin ko ang aking pagiging mapusok. I could have said my piece in a spiritual way. Let’s give the profit of our labor to our employers but our voices to the laborers,” said Robin.
