Award-winning actress Nora Aunor is grateful to GMA Network for always providing her with quality projects.
SInce 2018, Aunor has been a mainstay of GMA Network. Aunor portrayed the role of Nelia Dimagiba-Matayog in the drama series Onanay which aired from August 6, 2018 and conclude on March 15, 2019. The said series marked her comeback to the Kapuso Network.
After the success of My Little Nanay and Onanay, the original Superstar will grace TV screens again as she will star in the upcoming afternoon drama series of GMA, Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit, which is her third TV series with the network. The drama series is a TV reboot of the 1989 drama film of the same title starring Aunor and Tirso Cruz III under the direction of Elwood Perez.
The 66-year old actress could not hide her excitement about her new TV project since it was one of her classic films not to mention that she bagged the FAMAS Awards for Best Actress for her performance. Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit is set to air on February 24, 2020 as part of the Kapuso network’s afternoon program block. Other cast members include Mylene Dizon, Kyline Alcantara, Zoren Legazpi, Yasser Marta, Ina Feleo, Gabby Eigenmann, Divina Valencia, and Isabel Rivas.

Laurice Guillen, the director of the rebooted drama series, admires the multi-awarded actress for her professionalism despite her health issues. Ate Guy has asthma but she sees to it that it does not cause any delay in the taping.
“Kahit na masama ang pakiramdam ko, talagang nagti-taping ako. Hindi ako nali-late,” Aunor said.
