In an interview with Rider PH Studios, Myrtle Sarrosa mentioned that she’d like to work with Alden Richards since they play Ragnarok together.
“May last ako na interview na sinagot kong si Alden, kasi kalaro ko siya sa Ragnarok so curious ako kung paano siya ka-trabaho rin.”
When she was asked if she’s planning to transfer to the GMA network, Myrtle could only say that there is a perfect time for that announcement, as she’s not allowed to provide further details.
“Sa ngayon po bawal pa pong pag-usapan mga bagay bagay, let’s wait po for proper announcement. Of course under ako sa Regal Films and then ‘yung gagawin kong next film ‘yung last time na na-announce naming ‘yung 26 hours.
Moreover, 2020 seems to be a promising year for Myrtle. Pinoy Big Brother’s “Cosplay Cutie ng Iloilo” revealed that she will be working on two films this year and had three more endorsements lined up. In addition to that, she hopes to have more projects on TV.
“Blessed ako this 2020 so far. Sobrang happy ako with what’s happening, career-wise. This year started tatlong endorsements tapos two confirmed movies, sobrang blessed ako. Sana mas makita niyo ako lalo sa TV at sa films, pero i-continue ko pa rin ‘yung mga other passions ko like gaming and cosplaying.
One of the upcoming movies of Myrtle this year would be the controversial film titled 26 Hours: Escape From Mamasapano. As per Myrtle, her character in this film plays an important role to fight for justice for the families of the Mamasapano victims.
“Sa totoo lang, hirap na hirap ako magsalita. Before magsimula ‘yung presscon, nakausap ko ‘yung iba’t ibang pamilya, sila ‘yung naiwan, mga kamag-anak talaga nila mga namatay 5 years ago. Since 5 years ago up until now, they want justice. Nung naririnig ko ‘yung mga kwento nila, naiiyak talaga ako kasi parang nararamdaman ko how it feels to lose someone, up until now there’s still asking for justice. So, ‘yung character ko plays such an important role to get these families the justice that they want.”
