Kris Aquino unintentionally forgot that she’s one of the stockholders of the ABS-CBN network.
In fact, among the Top 100 stockholders, Kris is positioned at 64th.
She only remembered about her shares when one of her followers asked about her standing as one of the stockholders and if she’s still on good terms with the ABS-CBN’s Executives.
Kris candidly replied, “Actually forgot I had stocks until I read about it… and no we have lost touch… #truth.”
The total amount of Kris’ shares in ABS-CBN was not indicated on the official website of Lopez Holdings Corporation. The Queen of All Media is still quite on good terms with Boy Abunda but not with the network’s executives.

Moreover, it was former President Noynoy Aquino who was first hesitant about renewing the Kapamilya network’s franchise way back in 2015 due to its criticism against his administration.
There were also speculations that Noynoy Aquino was also demanding that Noli de Castro and Ted Failon be fired during the time ABS-CBN was requesting for franchise renewal in 2015.
Oddly PNoy too indicated he would not renew ABSCBN’s franchise; only Joma Sison wants to renew it but will he do it when he is president? Ok. Back to my spiritual retreat.

ABS-CBN is currently facing problems as its franchise is expiring on March 30, 2020. The House of Representative has yet to calendar the Committee hearings on the 11 pending bills seeking to renew ABS-CBN’s franchise.
Apart from the franchise expiration, ABS-CBN is also battling the quo warranto petition filed by the Office of the Solicitor General with the Supreme Court.
