During a blogger conference for Block Z, Julia Barretto was asked why she unfollowed Joshua Garcia on Instagram.
The actress noted that the topic was taken lightly by Joshua.
“Binibiro pa nga ako ni Joshua, ‘Bakit mo ako in-unfollow?’” she recalled.
“Mamayang gabi, ipa-follow back na kita!”
While she evaded from answering the question, the actress pleaded for people to not make everything as an issue since she and Joshua are on good terms despite their failed relationship.
“So, ‘di ba, stop making a big fuss out of so many things,” the actress said. “And once and for all, stop making Joshua and I fight. We’re not fighting. We’re okay, and we’re in good places in our lives. There’s no reason for us to fight. We ended nicely, our friendship is nice, so just respect that.”

Then there was the matter of the video showing the two stars backstage seemingly being awkward with each other and not talking.
Joshua answered the issue this time.
“Paikliin ko na lang ‘yung story,” he said. “That night, okay kami. Ang pangit lang… Lahat na lang ng galaw naming dalawa, may isyu, may meaning. Binibigyan nila ng meaning. Pero okay kami. Ako, personally, okay ako sa kaniya.”
Block Z is currently in theaters. It stars Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia, Yves Flores, Myrtle Sarrosa, Maris Racal, McCoy de Leon, Ian Veneracion, Dimples Romana, and Ina Raymundo, directed by Mikhail Red.
