Internet sensation and sexy star Ivana Alawi is now a certified Kapamilya as she inked a two-year exclusive contract with ABS-CBN before the network’s executives on February 7.
After the contract signing, the female artist was asked about her love life, if she is ready to mingle now?
“I’ve been single for a long time. Kaya I think it’s time,” she said.
When asked what her ideal man is, the she described him as: “Someone who’s going to love me for myself, yung hindi manloloko. Ayoko ng manloloko.”
Given her stunning beauty, other people speculate that she wants a handsome man or maybe someone with foreign genes, however, Ivana wants otherwise.
“Hindi naman ako naghahanap ng sobra-sobrang gwapo ‘yung tama lang. Gusto ko Pinoy,” she said.
Alawi is an actress and model. She started her showbiz career in 2015 when she joined GMA-7’s reality-based artista search Starstruck Season 6 and used her real name Mariam Al-Alawi. During the search, she failed to move through the second elimination night for the Top 28 round.
Starstruck 6 batch winners were Migo Adecer and Klea Pineda.
Three years after, she made her way back to showbiz, this time, using her screen name as Ivana Alawi.
She first appeared on the Kapamilya network as a supporting character in ABS-CBN’s after drama series Precious Hearts Romances presents Araw Gabi which was aired in April till October of 2018.
When the show ended, Ivana was tapped to portray the character of Amor in the longest-running primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
She was the girlfriend of the character portrayed by the late Eddie Garcia, the mortal enemy of Coco Martin’s character.
Her good acting skills and undeniable beauty earned her positive reviews that led to clinching another Dreamscape Entertainment project. The producer of Ang Probinsyano gave her another TV assignment and included her in the cast of Mea Culpa: Sino ang May Sala starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Bella Padilla, and Kit Thompson.
Aside from acting, Ivana is busy with her online life as she entered the world of vlogging. Her YouTube channel has 3.99 million subscribers. In her vlogs, the 23-year old star shares her daily routines, outfits, and travels. She even does challenges and pranks with her sister, Mona Louise Rey, who is also a child actress.
Her Instagram account, on the other hand, boasts of 2.4 million followers as of this writing.
Meanwhile, Ivana is set to topbill in the upcoming drama series with a working title Ligaya opposite Kit Thompson.
