Former Kapamilya artist Robin Padilla has released another statement on his views on ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal.
On his Instagram account, Padilla answered questions and issues thrown at him.
The veteran actor said his stand is for the rights of the workers.
He clarified that he is not against the renewal of ABS-CBN’s franchise. But he hopes that the Kapamilya stars would be the voice of the workers who would be displaced if the franchise is not renewed.

“God is great!
However, Padilla remained insistent on his accusations of Coco Martin who allegedly splashed water on his sleeping crew members.
Recently, Padilla attacked Dingdong Dantes, Angel Locsin, Coco Martin, and other celebrities who renewed their support for ABS-CBN’s franchise, and challenged them to show and reveal their bank accounts.
But Dingdong, Angel, and Coco have chosen not to react to his challenge until this day.
Recently, SolGen Jose Calida’s presence was sought at the Senate hearing on the ABS-CBN franchise. He was asked to appear before a Senate committee on Monday to continue hearings on the franchise renewal of the largest media network in the country.
This involvement of Solicitor General Calida would be “crucial” given the questions he raised against ABS-CBN in a petition for quo warranto.
“We’d like to keep our hearings balanced so we’d like to get the opinion from both sides,” Senator Grace Poe said.
But if Calida refused to discuss merits of his petition for quo warranto against the network, Poe said the committee could still gather information from other resource individuals.
