GMA Network’s latest primetime drama series Love of My Life debuted last Monday, February 3. The new series replaced One of the Baes which had its finale episode on Friday, January 31.
From the latest available data from AGB Nielsen NUTAM report, Love of My Life‘s pilot episode successfully beat Kapamilya rival A Soldier’s Heart. Love of My Life registered a rating of 8.6%, 0.2% higher than its rival’s 8.4%.
However, the latest Kapuso series didn’t manage to topple its competitor in the nationwide survey.
Kantar Media reported a rating of 11.5% for Love of My life, 4.3% lower than A Soldier’s Heart at 15.8%.
Starring real-life couple Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana with Mikael Daez and Rhian Ramos, the pilot episode saw the unfortunate encounter between Adelle (Carla) and Isabella (Connie Reyes).
The two were on their way to a travel expo when their cars almost collided in the middle of the road.
During the incident, Isabella saw Adelle’s manner of treating people after she shouted at her driver.
At the event, clueless Adelle didn’t know that the person she had almost collided with was the same person whom she considered as her idol.

When Isabella advised her to treat her people with respect, Adelle didn’t know how she would react until Isabella’s secretary Janice showed her the video of their road encounter.
