After Angel Locsin praised ABS-CBN’s President and CEO Carlo Katigbak for his humble manner at the Senate hearing, Bea Alonzo also posted about how proud she was to be a Kapamilya.
On Bea’s Instagram account, the 32-year-old multi-awarded actress claimed that ABS-CBN Executives are not just bosses, but also family.
“They are not just our bosses. They are FAMILY. You made us proud today being a KAPAMILYA. Salamat po.”

Bea has been with the Kapamilya network since 2002 and is one of the best homegrown artists of Star Magic who shined in projects like One More Chance and A Second Chance with John Lloyd Cruz, 4 Sisters and A Wedding with fellow ABS-CBN Queen Angel Locsin, and Unbreakable with Angelica Panganiban.
The Senate hearing last Monday lasted for 6 hours straight to discuss the ABS-CBN franchise renewal issue, spearheaded by Senator Grace Poe. Katigbak has shown nothing but pure humility despite the tense situation of the network.
Katigbak also apologized to President Rodrigo Duterte if he was offended when the network aired the anti-Duterte advertisement paid by Sen. Antonio Trillanes.
Katigbak emphasized that ABS-CBN was not able to remove the anti-Duterte ads immediately since they were waiting for the TRO’as the legal basis to remove it.

While Senator Grace Poe was dealing with ABS-CBN franchise renewal issue last Monday, House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano decided to relaunch his Kobe Bryant exhibit at the House of Representatives. The exhibit came after Cayetano said that Congress was too busy to tackle ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal, due to other legal bills that were submitted right before the Kapamilya network applied for another 25-year franchise renewal.
