Arnell Ignacio’s newest radio program titled Labor of Love began airing on Valentine’s Day. The show will focus on public service mostly for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).
As one of the solid Duterte supporters, Arnell used to be the Executive Director at the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) but he formally resigned last March 2019 to give time for his family and mend his relationship with his daughter.
Arnell stated that he refused Coco Martin’s offer to be part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano several times.
Last March 2019, Arnel stated the difficulties of working in a government, as it requires you to fully commit your time to be of service to fellow Filipinos even if it causes you to lose time for the family.
“If you are in government and you are truly doing your job, wala ka talagang oras sa kahit ano, wala, kundi yung trabaho mo.”
Arnel realized that resigning from OWWA would give him time and opportunities to do what he also loves and to fix personal issues with his daughter.
