For 23 years in the entertainment industry, It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis paid tribute to Viva Entertainment and shared with her 14 million followers how grateful she is for Viva’s Vic Del Rosario taking a chance on her.
This is how Anne started her heartfelt tribute: “I’ve been with my Viva family since the age of 12 (yes, since Princess Dahlia in Magic Kingdom) & this year I’ll be celebrating my 23rd year in the industry and with Viva who became my family.”
She still recalls the time she signed a contract with Viva at 12, when Boss Vic promised both of her parents that he will do his best to make Anne a phenomenal star in the industry. Up to this day, Anne has not forgotten Vic’s efforts and how it greatly impacted her career.
“A story I’ll never forget my dad telling me is when he met Boss Vic, he had told my dad, it will take time, years perhaps, but I will make your daughter a star in this industry… and he kept his word to both my parents. I will forever be grateful that they took the chance and believed in me. 23 years have gone by and here I still am making films in the industry and field of art I have grown to love.”
Anne also emphasized that she may not be active today due to her first pregnancy, but she will always be a Viva artist. At the end of her tribute, Anne hoped that through this simple act of appreciation, Viva may feel the love she has for the entire film production firm.
She continued: “Although I am taking a little break now, I’ll always be a Viva Teen, Leading Lady and now Mama. Sending light and love to my Viva Family whom I know have been feeling down lately. Love you all.”

Anne felt the need to pay tribute to Viva as the latter was accused by Nadine Lustre’s lawyer as “oppressive” to its pool of talents. Lustre aims to “terminate” immediately her contract to Viva which was supposed to end in 2029 but Viva warned third parties planning to hire Lustre without their consent that there would be corresponding legal consequences.
