Kapuso Actor Alden Richards expressed his sentiments on the finale of GMA’s Telebabad series The Gift.
After the success of his movie with Kathryn Bernardo, Hello, Love, Goodbye, The Gift was offered to him. Richards considers this as his longest teleserye to date.
In an exclusive interview with GMA Entertainment, the actor shared how he feels about the show coming to an end.
“In the past five years, this is my longest teleserye to date.”
Alden shared one of the things that he will miss when the series ends.
“Siyempre, mami-miss ko ‘yung set. Ang sigurado sa amin, kahit matapos ‘yung show, babaunin namin ‘yung relationship na nabuo dito. Hindi magtatapos sa teleserye lang,” he said.
Alden was part of the GMA Telebabad series Carmela with actress Marian Rivera which ended after four months, with a total of 83 episodes and Victor Magtanggol (which replaced The Cure) which also ended after four months with a total of 80 episodes. The Gift has with a total of 93 episodes (as of this writing), running for almost 5 months.

After The Gift, Alden will be hosting the newest singing talent competition, Centerstage, where he gets to work with kids.
“Excited ako kasi mahilig ako sa bata first and foremost. And the last hosting show that I did for GMA was ‘Bet ng Bayan’ pa. Batang-bata pa ‘ko no’n. That was five or six years ago.”
