Halik actress Yam Concepcion strongly hopes that ABS-CBN has a plan B if ever President Rodrigo Duterte will not renew its franchise.
In line with this, Yam has stated that she’s not in the position to answer or express her opinion towards the franchise issue of the network.
She hopes Duterte can find in his heart that there are thousands of employees relying on ABS-CBN if he stops the franchise renewal.
Yam said, “I’m not in the position to answer that siguro, sana ma-renew ni Duterte ung franchise ng ABS, kasi ‘di lang naman para sa akin. Ang dami kasi employees ng ABS, ayaw naman natin mawalan sila ng trabaho.”
She continued, “I hope makita ni Duterte sa puso niya, na maraming mawawalan trabaho kung ‘di niya irerenew, how it really affect the lives of people.”
Moreover, the 31-year-old actress trusts the executives of the network to have a plan B and utilize other different platforms that they can use as alternatives.
“Meron naman siguro mga boss sa ABS, meron namn siguro sila back up plan. Feeling ko wala ako posisyon para sagutin kung ano plano nila, kasi di naman ako boss ng ABS.

“May mga ibang platform naman eh, may mga digital na ngayon. Pwede gawin ibenta internationally, maraming plan B. Ginagawa lang namin kung ano dapat gawin at the moment, we’ll cross the bridge when we get there.”
