Pinoy Big Brother Season 8 housemate Seth Fedelin’s career in show business got an early start after he was evicted.
The young star had his big break in Kadenang Ginto, becoming part of the Gold Squad along with Kyle Echarri, Andrea Brillantes, and Francine Diaz.
SethDrea (as what fans called his on-screen pairing with Andrea Brillantes) has become one of the leading love teams of ABS-CBN. Aside from Kadenang Ginto, they also starred in the iWant movie Wild Little Love.
The 17-year-old actor is the eldest among three siblings, even stepping in as a second parent to them.
Seth’s father was an Overseas Filipino Worker who had a stroke when he returned home to the Philippines.

“So, nawala ‘yung pangarap niya para sa amin. Masakit sa akin ‘yun, kasi siya ang idol ko, eh. Bigla siyang nagsabi sa akin nu’n, umiyak siya, sabi niya, ‘anak, ‘di ko na magagawa ‘yung ganito, pasensiya na,” Seth shared.
With all the blessings he received last year, he was able to buy his own car and a motorcycle for his father.
Last December, Seth had their house in Cavite renovated.
“Pinaayos ko ‘yung CR (comfort room), pinaayos ko ‘yung tiles, kasi simula nang itayo ‘yung bahay namin, hanggang pumasok ako ng Bahay ni Kuya, ‘yun pa rin, vinyl lang siya. So, gusto kong i-tiles,” he proudly shared.
It had been his father’s dream that their house would have tiled floors. Seth is happy to make it happen.
“Ang saya ko dahil natupad ko po, para sa Papa ko. Natulungan ko ‘yung magulang ko, natulungan ko ‘yung ama ko na minsan, nagsakripisyo na rin sa ibang bansa,” he said.
“Sa sarili ko, saka na. Kasi, sa sarili ko, madali lang ‘yan, eh. Sa pamilya ko kasi, lalo na ang magulang ko, walang trabaho, eh. Dalawa sila. Sila ang rason kung bakit ako nakaupo rito.”
With all that he has now, can he say that he is successful?
“Hindi po. Hindi pa po ako kuntento. Kasi may gusto pa akong patunayan, may gusto pa akong gawin, at ayokong makuntento.
“Kasi, itinuro sa akin ng magulang ko, ‘huwag kang titingin sa meron ka ngayon. Tingnan mo kung anon’g magkaka-meron ka bukas, tingnan mo kung anon’g mawawala sa ‘yo bukas,” he said.
