One netizen asked for Maja’s opinion about Ivana Alawi as the replacement lead in ABS-CBN’s upcoming series Ligaya.
Maja denied that Ligaya was a project she was supposed to do and clarified that it was just a code name for her upcoming series then, not specifically the same project of Ivana and Kit Thompson’s.

There are reports stating that Ligaya series was first offered to Maja but then, she was looking for another project which was more challenging for her.
Maja said: “May gagawin po dapat ko na serye kaso parang yung kwento, infidelity na naman. So, agawan na naman. Parang natapos na ako doon. Parang feeling ko, hindi siya yung show na susundan ng Wildflower. Parang sa laki ng ginawa ng Wildflower sa career ko, parang kailaang ko ng something na ma-tsa-challenge ako.”

Maja Salvador’s recent TV series The Killer Bride gained as high as 19.39% on TV ratings, during its final episode against GMA’s One of the Baes which only had 12.1% based on Kantar Media.
