- Starla series has reached its finale
- Judy Ann Santos explained why ended early
- The actress is expected to star an upcoming movie after the series
Judy Ann Santos explained why the primetime series Starla which stars her in the lead role is ending early. Though many viewers want the show to go on longer, it will only last for one season. The series premiered on TV last October.
At the finale media conference of Starla, Judy Ann said, “When they presented Starla to me, talagang 1 season lang siya, at that time kasi, masyado nang napapagod ang mga tao sa mahahabang teleserye.”
“So when they presented Starla to me, aaminin ko tinanong ko sila, ‘one season lang ba talaga ‘to?’
After the conclusion of Starla, the actress revealed she is planning to focus more of her time on her kids before doing new projects this year.
Starla served as Judy Ann’s comeback on primetime television since 2013’s Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala.
In 2018, Judy Ann signed a contract with Reality Entertainment to work with acclaimed director Erik Matti on a movie.
