- The girl with a dream is now considered as GMA Network’s Princess
- She hopes to have more decades of achievements with a healthy love life.
Solid Kapuso actress Barbara “Barbie” Forteza, 22, reminisced about her achievements from the past decade.
She was introduced by GMA Network in 2009 in the Filipino remake of the 2003 South Korean television drama series Stairway to Heaven where she played the role of young Jodi.
This was followed by other projects like Pilyang Kerubin (2010), Tween Hearts (2010), The Half Sisters (2014), and Meant to Be (2017).
These was just some of her projects for 10 years in the industry.
“ISANG DEKADA NA BA YUN?! Grabe. Time really does fly when you’re having fun,” she started the caption.
The GMA Princess also posted photos of her different acting awards, such as Best Actress Award for the film Laut (2016) at the 36th Fantasporto International Film Festival and her Cinemalaya Best Supporting Actress for the film Mariquina (2014).
“So many great things happened to me this past decade and I am beyond grateful,” the caption said.
She also added she never thought she would be able to make more than that, to work with her idols, receive acting awards in the country and abroad, to be able to buy what she needs and still have more than enough, to travel the world, and lastly to make her family proud.
She ended her caption with this:
“This decade has been one hell of a great ride for me and I can’t wait to face the next 10 years of my life still doing what I love! Hopefully with the person (Jak Roberto) in my last photo, Happy New Year/Decade Everyone! Let’s make it count!”
