The calamity brought upon by the eruption of Taal Volcano has affected people in Batangas, Laguna, Cavite, parts of Metro Manila, and other neighboring provinces.
With this in mind, even international stars have been sending good wishes to the Philippines and the victims of the eruption.

Super Junior member Siwon made a thoughtful prayer for the children and the elders affected by Taal Volcano eruption, hoping that no one gets seriously hurt.

Kim Myung Soo
The Korean actor was in the Philippines for his meet and greet event in New Frontier Theater, Quezon City when Taal Volcano erupted. Aside from expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome he received from Filipino fans, he hoped for everyone’s safety.
Kim Myung Soo said, “I would like to thank all the fans who came to the fan meeting tonight. Due to the eruption of a volcano near Manila, I hope that no one will be affected by this natural calamity.”

Fil-Am comedian Jo Koy asked for prayers on his Instagram. Jo Koy was in the Philippines when Taal Volcano started to erupt so his flight was moved.

Since Monday, there have been over 25,000 people who have sought shelter in the evacuation centers. Local celebrities are asking for continuous prayers, like Ogie Alcasid, Piolo Pascual, Kim Chiu, Lea Salonga, Dingdong Dantes, Anne Curtis, and Ai-Ai Delas Alas.
