Ryza Cenon was the ultimate female survivor in the second season of StarStruck and was able to appear in numerous GMA shows.
Two years ago, the Kapuso star transitioned to be one of Kapamilya stars and she first appeared in the unbeatable ABS-CBN Primetime show, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. The show is considered as one of the longest-running television drama series in the country. She was also part of other Primetime shows like the one with Angel Loscin‘s series The General’s Daughter. She also appeared in Ipaglaban Mo episodes.
As one of the newest Kapamilya actresses, Cenon was asked how does the looming non-renewal of ABS-CBN franchise affects her.
“Actually, tinanong ko rin po sa Viva about it. Tinanong ko kung ano po ang mangyayari. “
She was a Kapuso for 12 years and in two years as Kapamilya. The possibility of non- renewal of ABS CBN’s franchise has caused alarmed in showbiz circuit.
“And sabi naman, ‘Don’t worry, hindi namin kayo pababayaan. Kung wala man, meron naman tayong ganito, may digital naman. So, wala raw dapat ikatakot,” Ryza said.
She is currently under the management of Viva Artists Agency.
“Hindi ako natatakot, kasi may tiwala ako sa Viva at sa ABS-CBN,” she added.
What will Ryza say, if she will be given a chance to talk to President Duterte personally about this franchise renewal issue?
“Siguro ako, kung may problem man between ABS-CBN and President Duterte, sana huwag nang idamay lahat, lalo na yung mas mababa pang nagtatrabaho sa ABS-CBN, ” she said. “Yun talaga ang concern ng lahat.”
