Despite the controversial issue of ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal, the network giant unveiled an exciting lineup of TV shows, movies and new iWant programs you definitely don’t want to miss this 2020.
Dubbed as “Sama-Sama Tayo sa 2020,” the lineup promises a lot of excitement, drama, and romance.
TV Series
A Soldier’s Heart
Gerald Anderson’s new series is set to launch on January 20, 2020 with the other heartthrob actors of ABS-CBN such as Yves Flores, Nash Aguas, Jerome Ponce, Elmo Magalona, Carlo Aquino, and Ketchup Eusebio.
Love Thy Woman
This story about modern Filipino-Chinese families has no release date yet. Love Thy Woman is a star-studded new TV series of ABS-CBN. Director Jeffrey Jeturian made sure to include Kim Chiu, Yam Concepcion, Xian Lim, Sunshine Cruz, Christopher De Leon, Eula Valdez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Jennifer Sevilla, Tim Yap, and Janna Victoria.
Kahit Minsan Lang
After their successful movie Unbreakable, Bea Alonzo and Richard Gutierrez have another project together for ABS-CBN this year. Bea Alonzo will played the role of an adopted sister of brothers portrayed by Rafael Rosell, Christian Bables, and Jameson Blake.
Ligaya
Ivana Alawi gets her first-ever big break on TV with Kit Thompson. Ivana’s role in Ligaya was first offered to Maja Salvador but actress needed to turn it down for The Killer Bride.
Heart To Heart
After Hiwaga ng Kambat, Edward Barber and Maymay Entrata will be pairing up again in a series set to launch this coming March.
The Voice Teens
The reality singing competition is on the hunt for another champion. Coaches Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, and Apl.de.ap will come back for another season in the month of hearts. The Voice Teens will be a comeback show of Apl.De.Ap on ABS-CBN after The Voice of the Philippines last 2014.
Everybody Sing
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda will lead the newest addition to the giant network’s lineup of game shows.
Tanging Mahal
The much-awaited comeback TV series of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will be produced by Dreamscape Entertainment.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN is also coming up with new shows on its streaming platform iWant, where some of the Kapamilya actors and actresses were given the chance to have projects such as Julia Barretto, Tony Labrusca, Sam Milby, Diether Ocampo.

For the cross-platforms collaborations, James Reid and Nancy MacDonie’s first team-up The Soulmate Project will be released this year. Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano’s He’s Into Her will also premiere this year as well.

Fan Girl
Paolo Avelino will play himself in this movie with an unnamed fan girl. Directed by none other than Antoinette Jadaone, Fan Girl also features cinematography by Neil Daza.
U Turn
Kim Chiu works for the first time with JM De Guzman and Tony Labrusca for the Filipino adaptation of the box office hit of India U Turn. A mystery thriller movie came out way back in 2016, originally produced by Pawan Kumar. The story is about a budding journalist and a police inspector.
Block Z
Mark your calendars this coming January 29, 2020 as Julia Barretto, Dimples Romana and Joshua Garcia’s zombie film is about to hunt you down in cinemas nationwide.
Love or Money
It’s a dream come true for Angelica Panganiban to work with Coco Martin for the first time ever in Love or Money directed by Mae Cruz. This is Star Cinema’s Valentine gift to everyone this year.Angelica even joked, “Stop muna yung Probinsyano, ako lang yung nakapagpatigil! Wait lang daw muna, ha. Wait lang.”
Motel Acacia
JC Santos stars in this horror film playing a man who confronts a demon in a motel which he took from his father.
Kun Manpay Man It Panahon (Whether The Weather Is Fine)
Kun Manpay Man It Panahon is directed by Carlo Francisco Manatad and starslegendary actress Charo Santos with box-office king Daniel Padilla. This is a collaboration of 10 production outfits such as ABS-CBN Films, Black Sheep, Quantum Films, Cinematografica, Plan C, Globe Studios, House on Fire from France, AAND (Singapore), KawanKawan Media in Indonesia, iWant, and Dreamscape Entertainment.
Servando Magdamag
Those who missed the phenomenal John Lloyd Cruz on the big screen will see him again in Servando Magdamag. The movie also stars John Lloyd’s former flame Shaina Magdayao.
