In a series of tweets, Vice Ganda talked about the bashing and the negativity being thrown at him and how he is responding to those.
He said, despite of all the ill wishes and hurtful words he received, he continues to be strong because he doesn’t want to ruin everything that he has already gained.
Every single day i get bashed.

He added that while there are those who do not like him, there were many others who love and support him.
At di lng gusto. Mga taong mahal ako. At napatunayan kong mas higit na marami sila. At sila ang mas mahalaga

He continues to be strong for people who find joy and strength in him and who believe and look up to him as their inspiration.
Marami sila.

Instead of focusing on the negativity, he’s just praying for his bashers everyday. While he acknowledged that life is hard, it’s still happier to live and fight because surrendering won’t be able to lead you to a better life.
Dasal. Laban. Dasal. Laban. Yan lng ang routine. Pag sumuko tyo di mo makikita ung magandang nagaantay satin.

He wished every person who experienced the same burden as he has, to stay strong and keep fighting.
Di kita kilala. Pero alam kong may pinagdadaanan ka. I wish u well. Laban. Kahit tapos na ang Sea Games WE WIN AS ONE!!!!

Vice revealed that when he was 16 he contemplated on ending his life. Thankfully he did not give in to that or else he won’t be able to experience the current life he is living.
I attempted suicide when i was 16. Salamat at di ako natuluyan.

Prior to those tweets, Vice has also called out the ‘call-out culture’ questioning the significance and worth of comedy films in the Metro Manila Film Festival.
“Kailangan i-call out din natin na mali ho yung mababang tingin niyo sa comedy, na kinukuwestiyon ninyo ang kahalagahan ng comedy sa pelikula at sa buhay in general. Since call out culture nga, i-call out natin sila at dapat siguro sa tulong ninyo, maaring ipaliwanag ninyo sa kanila kung bakit mahalaga at legit ang comedy, especially sa Pasko, lalo na sa Pilipinas.” said Vice.
Film enthusiasts and many netizens have been at the forefront criticizing the inclusion of what they called “basura comedy” at the annual film fest.
But despite the criticisms of the comedy genre during the Metro Manila Film Festival, Vice firmly believes that our country needs comediennes, as it helps fellow Filipinos to somehow uplift themselves in the midst of life’s challenges.

Vice is again part of the MMFF for his movie The Mall, The Merrier. Joining him in the cast are Anne Curtis, Dimples Romana, Tony Labrusca, and many others.
