  • Sylvia Sanchez confirmed a season 2 for Pamilya Ko.
  • Pamilya Ko is set to have its Book 2 in January 2020

Kapamilya actress Sylvia Sanchez happily shared that her pre-primetime series Pamilya Ko will be having a second season.

During her contract signing with ALV Talent Circuit last December 10, Sanchez confirmed that the series will have its book 2 in January 2020.

According to her, they’re on the last two weeks of taping for the first season and production is gearing up for the start of season 2 of the show.

“Hindi ko pa alam. Pero magbo-book two na kami. Wala pa namang sinasabi na ayaw na kami sa ere o na aalis kami. Ang sinabi lang sa akin ‘yung book two. Shinu-shoot na namin ngayong ang Week 11 and Week 12. Closing na ‘yun. Ending na ‘yun ng one. So bu-book two na kami by January,” said Sylvia.

The veteran actress also thanked all their supporters and viewers for keeping them on top of the ratings board.

“And thank God kasi mataas ‘yung Pamilya Ko. At pinapanood talaga ng mga viewers. Gusto nila ‘yung kabubuuan ng show at lahat ng cast,” she stated.

Currently, Pamilya Ko leads the rating board beating timeslot rival Wowowin.

Based on the latest rating report by Kantar Media, Pamilya Ko edged out Wowowin 15.1% to 12.0% in their December 9, 2019 episode.

AGB Nielsen has yet to release its latest numbers for Pamilya Ko and Wowowin.

Meanwhile, latest episodes featured the tragic incident involving Luz after she was shot multiple times by Loida right after her husband Fernan (Joey Marquez) left their house. She was then taken to the hospital where she was fighting for her life.
