Actor Rocco Nacino has revealed a very interesting fact about the Descendants of the Sun adaptation set to premiere on GMA Network next year.
In an interview last November with entertainment reporters, Nacino shared that lead actor Dingdong Dantes directed a very thrilling scene on Descendants of the Sun.
Dingdong also shared his ideas with Dominic Zapata, the director of the Descendants of the Sun.
“Alam mo si Dong ang nag-direk no’ng shot,” Rocco shared.
Dingdong has been previously nominated for directing at the 24th PMPC Star Awards for Movies for the movie Angels.
The shot that Nacino was talking about is a scene where the Alpha Team is riding a helicopter for a military operation.
Nacino even added how the stunt was death-defying but fun at the same time,
“It was so much fun kasi ‘yung chopper na nasa likod namin is totoong sinakyan namin at lumipad siya na naka-hawak lang ako sa isang strap habang nasa ibaba ng dagat.”
Rocco Nacino plays Sergeant Diego Ramos a.k.a. Wolf, which is the partner in crime of Dingdong who will play as Captain Lucas Manalo a.k.a. Big Boss.

Nacino even admitted that he was scared to the point that he was shouting in some scenes which were deleted.
“So, maraming footage do’n sa camera namin na kailangan burahin kasi nakikitang sumisigaw ako. Nakakatakot din e!”
The Descendants of the Sun Philippine Adaptation is one of the biggest teleserye of the GMA Network this coming 2020.
