Actor-comedian Lassy Marquez has admitted that his heart is happy now but “not yet occupied.”
“Recently lang, kinilig ako. Pero di pa naman (occupied ang heart ko). Hope for the best. Ganon pa rin,” Lassy said in an interview with Janna Chu Chu on YouTube.
While being interviewed, a man named “Ron” was sitting beside the comedian.
Lassy admitted that Ron is a friend he recently met that makes him feel “kilig.”
The comedian said since last year, he had a hard time having a relationship due to “other priorities” and he was afraid of getting hurt again.
“Until recently may nagpakilig. Pero nandoon pa rin iyong takot ko (na masaktan),” Lassy said.
When asked if Ron is the one who can make him smile “forever,” Lassy said he “still doesn’t know” because it’s too early to tell.
The comedian said he and Ron have only known each other for two months.
“Hindi ko pa talaga alam,” he said while laughing.
When asked if Ron has a chance to be his boyfriend, Lassy said: “Hindi natin masabi. Come what may.”
Ron, on the other hand, said Lassy has all the qualities he is looking for in a partner.
As a boyfriend, Ron told Lassy that he is faithful, consistent, and he knows how to be content with what he has.
Upon hearing what Ron said, the comedian laughed hard and reiterated, “Basta come what may.”
“Let’s see,” he added with a smile.
Lassy said he hoped to find his life partner soon “just like Meme.”
Meme, otherwise known as comedian-host Vice Ganda, is now happy in a relationship with Ion Perez.
The pair have been in a relationship for a year now.
“Oo (kailangan makahanap ng taong magmamahal). Inspirasyon din kasi tawag don eh. Para ganahan ka sa trabaho,” Lassy said.
“Kapag inspired ka ang sarap gumising sa umaga. Kahit puyat ka hindi mo namamalayan iyong pagod,” he concluded.
Lassy and his boyfriend of two years, John Cyrus, broke up in July 2018.
