For the first time, Primetime Queen Marian Rivera-Dantes and Gabby Concepcion will be working together in an upcoming GMA TV series to be launched in 2020 titled First Yaya.
As per Gabby, working with Marian is such a dream come true, since he has wanted to work with her ever since he became a Kapuso actor. GMA’s First Yaya marks Marian’s TV comeback after 2017’s Super Ma’am and after she gave birth to her second child.
The story of First Yaya will revolve around the family of the President played by Gabby, while Marian plays the role of a nanny to President’s children. Based on the teaser released by GMA, the show is more of a comedy and love story.
The project of Gabby and Marian was made possible after the latter reconciled with her former talent manager Popoy Caritativo, who currently handles the veteran actor.
Marian and Popoy parted ways in 2013 when the actress went to Triple A Management and left Popoy as her Talent Manager. While it is not known to many, Triple A Management was the one responsible for discovering Marian and provided her with her first primary roles in 2005 for Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako, Agawin Mo Man Ang Lahat and Pinakamamahal in 2006.
