Lovi Poe joined the list of Kapuso stars who crossed over to do projects with rival ABS-CBN.
Poe will be part of an upcoming movie set to premiere on ABS-CBN’s streaming service iWant.
Cast along Zanjoe Marudo, the movie project is produced by Dreamscape Digital, the digital arm of one of ABS-CBN’s business unit Dreamscape Entertainment.
On Instagram, Dreamscape boss Deo Endrinal shared a snapshot of Lovi and Zanjoe’s during their shooting in Matera, Basilicata, Italy.

Zanjoe and Lovi’s digital film will be directed by Glorious director Connie Macatuno.
Prior to Lovi, one of the most notable Kapuso stars who was able to cross over to ABS-CBN was Dingdong Dantes who did several films with Star Cinema like the Kimmy Dora movie series, Segunda Mano with Kris Aquino and Angelica Panganiban, One More Try with Angel Locsin, Zanjoe Marudo, and Angelica Panganiban, She’s The One with Bea Alonzo, The Unmarried Wife with Angelica Panganiban and Paulo Avelino, Seven Sundays, and the latest, Fantastica with Vice Ganda.
Aside from Dingdong, other Kapuso celebrities who have worked with ABS-CBN Film productions were Marian Rivera for KungFu Divas, Dennis Trillo for You’re Still The One and the latest Hellcome Home, Richard Gutierez in (when he was still with GMA in 2008) For the First Time, Joey De Leon with the Sarah-Gerald film Won’t Last A Day Without You, Jennylyn Mercado with John Lloyd Cruz in Just The 3 of Us, and Solenn Heusaff with Vhong Navarro in The Possessed. Before Lovi, Alden Richards was the latest Kapuso to cross over to do the phenomenally successful Hello Love. Goodbye.
