Award-winning Hollywood actor Matt Damon made a visit to the Philippines.
Filipino journalist Cheryl Tiu shared a photo of Damon with her father and his team at Tagaytay Highlands early this week.
In her tweet, Tiu said the ‘Bourne‘ star spent two nights in Tagaytay Highlands.
“My Dad and his team with actor Matt Damon at Tagaytay Highlands,” she wrote.
“He flew in to Manila then straight to Highlands where he spent 2 nights,” she added.

The Inquirer.net reported that Damon was still in the Philippines as of December 4.
According to Tiu, the American actor visited the country for his non-profit organization Water.org.
Water.org, which was co-founded by Damon, had partnered with local microfinance institution ASA Philippines to finance Filipino communities in need of water and sanitation facilities.

The collaboration is part of Water.org’s implementation of water credit program.
The program aimed in providing poor communities access to safe drinking water and sanitation through small loans, which must be used for water connections, pumps, tanks, and filters or for the construction or improvement of toilets.
Damon is known for his Jason Bourne role in four of the five films in the Bourne series.
