Queen of All Media Kris Aquino said she’s no longer interested in the limelight if it would cost her health and peace of mind.
In a comment exchange on Instagram, the former Kapamilya TV host addressed one commenter’s remark about her slowly becoming irrelevant.
“I hope you can still gain your former status as the country’s premier endorser. It seems like you are slowly fading into the shadow of irrelevance. Don’t get me wrong. Magpasabog ka ulit,” said the netizen.
In response, Kris said she is happy and chill being irrelevant if only for her well being and peace of mind.
“Pretty chill about becoming ‘irrelevant’ because the price to pay fighting to stay relevant wasn’t worth my health or my peace of mind,” Kris wrote.
“I worked too many days when I should’ve actually been listening to my body all because of the mistaken notion that protecting work commitments meant more than prioritizing my wellness. Sorry, walang ‘pasabog’ coming soon — I have outgrown that. It took so much prayer for me to be at peace with who I am and where I am,” she added.

These past months have been challenging for Kris. After losing an endorsement contract, Kris also lost an opportunity for movie comeback via a Metro Manila Film Festival entry.
In 2016, Aquino decided to leave ABS-CBN, her mother network for 22 years. After her exit, although Kris made few TV appearances on rival GMA network, Kris started concentrating on the digital platform with her Kris Cojuanco Aquino Productions (KCAP.
Since then, Kris turned herself into a digital media queen with her online show. But her digital empire also became a source of her stress as she entered a legal battle with former business partner Nicko Falcis. After all the controversies and counter charges the problem was later on amicably settled.
