- Joem Bascon is concerned with ABS-CBN regular employees who will lose jobs in case the franchise is not renewed.
Kapamilya actor Joem Bascon shared his take about the impending franchise renewal of ABS-CBN.
In a sideline interview after the mediacon for their movie Write About Love, Bascon was asked about his thoughts on the challenges ABS-CBN is facing with the renewal of their franchise.
According to Joem, they’re united in hoping for the favorable outcome of the franchise renewal.
“We’re just hopeful. Alam mo naging…ahh…lahat kame parang unified when it comes to the franchise na maeextend, na masignan yung franchise ulit. We’re taking it calmly. Syempre kapag nakita namin narattle yung mga higher ups namin syempre magugulo din kame,” said Joem.
He also shared that ABS-CBN is doing everything to fix the problem and they’re hoping that President Rodrigo Duterte and ABS-CBN management will find a compromise to settle the issue.
He added that their main concern are the regular employees who will lose their jobs once the franchise is not renewed.
“With this one, we’re following every rule, we’re following everything para mapagbigyan ang pangulo natin or para mapalambot ang puso niya na bigyan ng chance din. Kasi yung nga iniisip namin kasi madami kaming work na nakukuha even outside the network. ang inaano namin yung mga empleyado, the employees itself. the employees na..syempre mas mahirap sa kanila na maghanap na ulit ng work so yun we’re hopeful na masign na yung franchise ng network,” he said.
Joem is the latest star to share his thoughts about franchise renewal woes being faced by the Kapamilya network.
