“Sexy Hipon” Herlene Budol is set to join the cast of GMA Network’s afternoon TV drama series Madrasta.
The network uploaded on its Instagram a photo of Herlene on the set of Madrasta last Wednesday.
Herlene made her acting debut on Magpakailanman‘s “Yaya Dubai and I” episode last November 30.
The Wowowin co-host also beat Julia Barretto’s Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode in ratings.
Based on the ratings report by AGB Nielsen NUTAM People survey, Magpakailanman scored a 10.9 percent rating, 2.8 percent higher than MMK’s 8.1 percent.
Kantar Media, on the other hand, reported a very slim win by MMK at 17.5 percent vs 16.7 percent of Magpakailanman.

It was a dismal outcome for the Kapamilya drama anthology to score only a margin of just 0.8 percent considering its rival show only featured an acting newbie.
Netizens were all praises for Herlene for her great acting debut in the episode of Magpakailanman.
Herlene started as a contestant of GMA Network’s TV variety show “Wowowin last May.
Because of her wit and cool personality, her video as a contestant of the show‘s ‘Will of Fortune” segment went viral garnering more than 4 million views in just two days.
This prompted Wowowin host Willie Revillame to get her as one of the show’s co-hosts.
Madrasta stars Arra San Agustin, Thea Tolentino, Juancho Trivino, Manilyn Reynes, Gladys Reyes, and Almira Muhlach.
