GMA Network bosses remain unbothered despite the bashing caused by Senator Bong Revilla Jr., who is set to launch his comeback TV project in January 2020.
For them, there is really no issue since the senator has been vindicated of his criminal conviction.
One of the bosses said, “The mere fact na naibalik siya sa Senado. Ibig sabihin ay marami ang sumusuporta sa kanya, kumpara sa mga basher niya.
“Kaya tuloy lang ang project na gagawin niya, walang pagbabago.”
This, after Kapuso actress Janine Gutierrez, a homegrown talent of GMA Network re-tweeted a news article on the television comeback of the senator, saying, “Oh God.”

The senator had been imprisoned for four years for his plunder case and alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam.
Gutierrez’s political commentary earned mixed reactions from the netizens, including the senator’s talent manager, Lolit Solis, who slammed the actress for her remark. However, many netizens including celebrities showed their support for the Dragon Lady actress for speaking truth.
But, just like the GMA Network bosses, Senator Revilla is unaffected and remains positive about his TV comeback.
His upcoming project titled Agimat ng Agila is an action-fantasy that will take over the vacated timeslot of Gloria Romero’s Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko.
